These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LineRelay, including the Chrome extension and website at linerelay.app ("Service"), operated by Michael Kuhr ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using LineRelay, you agree to these Terms.
LineRelay is a Chrome extension that connects to your Linear workspace via OAuth to let you create issues from your browser. You must have a valid Linear account to use the Service.
You agree not to use LineRelay to:
LineRelay is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, existing free features will remain accessible on a free tier. We'll give reasonable notice before any feature moves behind a paywall.
When paid plans become available, the following terms will apply:
Billing. Paid plans will be billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you select (monthly or annual). All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but you'll retain access until your period ends.
Refunds. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@linerelay.app within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Price changes. We'll give at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
LineRelay does not store your data on our servers. Your OAuth token is stored only in Chrome's local storage on your device. Any data you submit when creating an issue (title, description, etc.) is sent directly to Linear and governed by Linear's own terms and privacy policy. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
LineRelay and its source code are the property of Michael Kuhr. You're granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for its intended purpose. You don't receive any ownership rights by using the Service.
LineRelay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Linear. "Linear" is a trademark of Linear Orbit, Inc.
LineRelay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that issues created through LineRelay will be saved to Linear without loss. Linear's API is outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of LineRelay — including loss of data, lost productivity, or issues with your Linear workspace. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you've paid nothing).
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify users via the extension or website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
